Hank is a creative type. Their focus is on writing and design for advertising, but they also have experience in social media, public relations and journalism. They enjoy making things, whether it be cupcakes, toothpaste or twitter bots.
Originally from rural Western Pennsylvania, Hank moved to Pittsburgh to attend Point Park University in 2013. While taking classes, they participated in everything from Honors Book Club to Table Top Tirade, and even created a random acts of kindness club called Pioneers for Kindness.
Hank joined The Globe their first semester, later becoming Assistant News Editor and covered the United Student Government beat. After serving two semesters as News Editor, Hank took a break from journalism to pursue a position on the Campus Activities Board as Advertising Coordinator their junior year.
The May before senior year, Hank went abroad with other School of Communication students as part of the International Media Trip to London, Bruges and Amsterdam, visiting newspapers, agencies and cultural landmarks. You can view their blogs from the trip here.
After graduating in December of 2016, they focused on performing comedy while working at Panera Bread. They are currently performing as part of a house team at the Unplanned Comedy Warehouse.
